Events Sharing Economy Dinners Masterclasses and Meetups
We believe that sharing begins with ideas. It's ideas that drive progress, innovation and inclusion in the
Global Sharing Week 2018 launch:
There's no bigger idea, than the one we had several years back – to launch a global celebration of sharing. This year, we're excited to announce the GSW launch is taking place at the House of Commons on May 15th, and will be hosted by MP Caroline Lucas. If you would like to join the festivities, contact us on susan@thepeoplewhoshare, and tell us why you'd like to come before we can reserve your space.
Our regular programme of events
We also think that the best ideas come from talking, listening and discussing with our colleagues, friends and communities. That's why The People Who Share host events throughout the year, events designed to stimulate conversation, to share knowledge and to help mainstream the SharingEconomy in a way that encourages more people to share and everyone to succeed.
Our hosted events cover a range of topics and locations, both open to public and by invite only,
independently and in partnership with our associates, and include:
Breakfast Briefings: immersive morning sessions to feed the mind and body, with a panel of experts
sharing their thoughts on a specific topic and including an open discussion forum.
Meetups: early evening drinks and discussion to address current topics facing the industry. These
dynamic, open sessions are a great way to increase sector knowledge and provide an informal space for networking. We also host and curate the Global Sharing Economy Network Meetup group that meets monthly to discuss topics related to sharing and the Sharing Economy. If you’d like to join the Global
Sharing Economy Network, sign up here.
Sharing Economy Dinners: hosted suppers offering networking and guided conversation within an
informal evening of handpicked guests. We curate both invitees and discussion topics to ensure open and lively discussion for industry leaders.
The People Who Share also provide a range of structured events in conjunction with our work in sector
development and consultancy, including:
Masterclasses: immersive workshops for clients and partners to learn the Sharing Economy story,
introduce traditional companies wanting to adapt and participate, hear case studies of leading brands in the sector, and to engage with the culture and partnerships that drive the Sharing Economy. These add value on a stand alone basis, as well as as preparation for strategy development and implementation.
Extended Forums: day long event bringing together leading voices from across the sector alongside
incubation workshops to foster learning and growth in an innovative format reflecting the transformational potential of the Sharing Economy.
