Summertime and Things are Hotting Up in the Sharing Economy

Even though 65% of adults in the UK are already using the Sharing Economy by trading second-hand goods, using car and ride sharing services and accommodation sharing sites, not everyone it seems, thinks it’s a good thing.

This week, It's All Share’s Founder and Chief Sharer, Benita Matofska told why she knows the Sharing Economy has staying power.

Despite the critics, many young people are excited about how the Sharing Economy helps people access the things they want, only paying for what they use. The critics, Benita says in a recent Guardian blog, have missed the point altogether.

Given that 83% of us says we would share spare goods if it were easy (you can see why, when you can save and make money and make friends along the way) the Sharing Economy is heading for the mainstream.

Consider that this summer you could book a villa in Portugal for just £15  it’s not surprising that most of us are snapping up the chance to have a holiday that’s cheaper, plus you get to make friends with the locals. You can’t say fairer than that!
